River Run Inn & Cabin’s central location makes an ideal hopping-off point to enjoy the Methow Valley’s unique boutiques, restaurants and bars, art galleries, adventure shops, music venues, and more.
A former gold rush town founded in 1883, Winthrop underwent a makeover to embrace its rugged pioneer past. The result is a fun Old-West-inspired town approximating a frontier outpost from the early 1900s.
Winthrop, Washington, and the Methow Valley are famous for outdoor recreation opportunities. Every season brings about new activities and scenic colors to enjoy. With the continent’s largest network of groomed cross-country ski trails, the area offers hiking, biking, snowshoeing, trail running, and water sports galore. In addition, it’s a spectacular launch pad for fly-fishing, mountain biking, and adventure.

My name is Michael Kennedy, and I’m excited to announce that I am the new River Run Inn and Cabins owner! I’m committed to providing the best possible service to our guests past, present, and future!
My brothers and I grew up with the Pacific Northwest as our backyard. We enjoyed the unsurpassed beauty of the mountains, old-growth forests, saltwater coastline, islands, waterfalls, rivers, and freshwater lakes.
Once I sat by the banks of the Methow River, I knew that River Run Inn & Cabins was my next big adventure. We look forward to sharing the amazing Methow Valley, and the historic town of Winthrop, Washington with you!
